Connecting TMDB API v3

How to register with The Movie Database and generate an API key for cinema discovery.

Purpose

Obtain movie ratings, official posters, genres, and metadata powered directly by TMDB.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Sign up for a free account at [The Movie Database (TMDB)](https://www.themoviedb.org/).
  • Navigate to your Account Settings -> API tab.
    • 3. Request an API Key (Developer).
  • Copy your API Key (v3 auth).
    • 5. In this platform, go to Settings -> API Connections, click Connect on TMDB, paste your key, and test the connection.
